Needles of various types and sizes (length and diameter) are used to collect blood, depending on the patient’s veins. One end of the needle is inserted into the patient’s vein, the other punctures the rubber tube stopper.
Multi-sample needles are used with a standard holder. One venipuncture, all kinds of tests!
A multi-sample needle with visual control (flashback) is equipped with an enlarged needle camera, making blood collection easier due to visible blood flow.
